Low-cost traveling
Since the first low-cost tickets were sold, travelling via low-cost airlines has become prevalent and popular not only among tourists but among businesspersons, with thousands of flights being used every day. However, what hidden is under low-cost price?
Being able to go on a journey over the world saving money sounds like a dream for the majority of people. However, there seems not to be difficult to find great many arguments about safety of low-cost aircrafts. A low cost flight is as innocuous as expensive one since it is under control of the same companies and the same technic inspections. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be allowed to fly anymore. Therefore, the greatest benefit of it is ability to get safe and cheap flight whenever you want.
Another point in favor of low cost airlines is that they fly to any places of the world. You can find them in big cities and smaller towns. The one small downside of it is that they are usually quite far from the center of a town. However, getting to the center via a bus shuttle could not cost more than 10 euro and take more than 30 half an hour.
Moving on to downsides of low-cost airlines using. Booking in advance is a good trick to pay nothing for tickets, less than airport costs. However, you ought to read more information concerning payment on extra baggage inasmuch as additional serves and amenities in contradistinction to free serves on traditional airlines would be extra-charged. What is more, you are likely to pay for any food or drink that you urge on a board since it is too extra-charged. However, it is more convenient to use only what is needed for you and not to overpay for something that completely unnecessary.
The biggest drawback of low-cost airlines is that you as a passenger could be under risk of being late because of the powerful usage of these aircrafts. They perform many flights a day and after landing and before taking off they have only 40-minute break (when passengers and their luggage taken off and on), so there can be delays in the first part of day. Moreover, the low-cost airlines have only direct flights and can’t guarantee catching up other flight afterwards.
To sum it up, although low cost airlines are not dangerous and widespread over the world, they have their own drawbacks such as additional extra-charged serves, not quite comfortable location. In balance, I believe we should pay more attention to additional details before booking low cost tickets due to not to spoilt our mood and journey.
