I am writing in reference to your advert in newspaper "The Canadian Times" to express my consent about the position of a volunteer teacher for local children.
I am Post Graduated in English Literature and currently working as a Professor in the University of Toronto. As a part of my summer internship, I have taught to children of villages for 6 months. So I have hands on experience in teaching those who are illiterate or rewarded with very nominal education. Hence, I believe I can be suitable for this position. Moreover, I have spare time in the evening as I return from the university at 5. I was thinking about utilizing this free time for welfare of society, then I saw the ad in newspaper and made up my mind to devote my time for poor local children.
I can join this duty from the coming Monday on 11 Nov. Till that time, I have some works in pipeline and after completing them, I can start working.
