Recently you saw an article in a newspaper/journal about a city/town you know and some of the information in the article was incorrect. Write a letter to the editor regarding this.

In your letter, you should tell:

how you know about this city/town
what information was incorrect
what the editor should do about this.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to inform you about an article which I have just read in the latest edition of the "Times Now" magazine in which some information about one of the wonders of the world was incorrect.

As for how I am familiar with Agra, a city in northern India, I was born and brought up there. In fact, I witnessed the expansion and development of this city with my own eyes. Although a couple of decades ago it was merely a small village, it turned into a metropolitan city after the construction of an incredible artifact.

With regard to the misinformation, the Taj Mahal, which was originally built by the order of Shah Jahan, but the article published in the magazine indicated this as an order of Mahatma Gandhi, which is incorrect information.

Because this information could misguide the local readers, may I suggest you publish a retraction and undertake not to repeat such mistakes in the near future. Furthermore, I have attached a few references in my letter for you, about the facts of this beautiful city.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,
James
