Dear Mr. Sharma,
I am writing this letter to inform you that yesterday you wrote an article in Navbharat times newspaper and I found it quite impressive and knowledgeable regarding to my village 'Gorakhpur'. I am born and brought up here and since generations we are living here. As this is my native place, I am quite familiar with all the places it has and all the developments that we have seen so far now. Yesterday, while reading the Navbharat Times, I was delighted to see an article published on my village, however I would like to spot a light on the incorrect information in the column number 2 which states that our village is lacking a sports club. This wrong data is misleading the younder generation of my area which is actually refraining them to take participations in state level championships in an actively manner.
To prove my point, I would like to share some reputed examples of some popular sports personalities who belong to my village and completed their initial training from the village stadium. Now, they have become successful players and reached at the peak of their careers which is an inspiration for young population.
Hence, it becomes really important to portray the true image of Gorakhpur in your paper because it is read by the country and unintentionally, you spoiled our image on the national level. Therefore, I request you to correct the data and publish the updated information in your revised article so that it can re-establish the positive attitude towards the sports.
