I am Abed Joy from 31 North Circular Road, Dhanmondi, Dhaka. I would like to draw your kind attention to the problem with garbage pickup in our neighborhood.
I regret to inform you that, in the past few months, there was a irregularity in garbage pickup from our neighborhood. Normally, all the garbage pickup trucks come in the 8AM every day, when everybody leave their garbage in predefined location as per your office orders. But for the past few months, trucks are coming in unscheduled time; someday at 7AM then other day at 1PM. This sort of irregularity is creating unsanitary condition and terrible smell for all the neighborhoods. Moreover, on a windy day, garbage spills into the road and create unbearable situation. Whole neighborhood is showing their discomfort with this issue and raising voice against the local council.
The ideal solution to mitigate the issue would be to arrange the pickups in a very timely fashion. Another thing can be done is to placing contained boxes to dump the garbage to prevent the spillage and ready to pick up by your team.
I believe this matter deserves your urgent attention otherwise whole neighborhood will raise their concern to mayor office, which will be harmful for your leadership among your area.
