While your friend was away on vacation, you stayed in his apartment. While you were there you dropped an expensive bowl and broke it. Write a letter to your friend and in your letter explain
- what happened
- apologize for the accident
- tell your friend what you plan to do about the bowl.
Dear Alan,
I hope this letter finds you well. First of all, I would like to apologise for the loss incurred, which was caused by our negligence. As, you were aware that we had already planned a party at your place, before you got a call from your office. As per the plan, party was organised for Saturday.
Let me explain you in detail. I was expecting, few people to show up but fortunately a lot of our friends showed up and were highly excited to see agglomeration of historical items at your place. Moreover, few of them tried to touch them, but luckily, I was able to stop them from damaging them. However, I couldn't stop John from getting hold of bowl and while trying to maintain balance, it got dropped and fell on the floor.
However, further damage was curtailed and happily, Brandon was there as well who has recently started working in an organisation, that specialises in fixing broken items. Therefore, bowl was taken by Brandon, to get it fixed. Moreover, John was embarrassed by his behaviour and has apologised for the damage that is been caused. Moreover, he wants to pay for the damage and also, has planned a party at his house for next week.
Regards,
Mark
