Write a letter to the company that sold you the item. In the letter:
give details about the order you made
explain what was wrong with the item
tell the company what you want them to do about it
Hello Sir/ Ma'am,
This is to inform you that last week I had ordered one dress from your e-commerce website. I was overjoyed after ordering that dress however, my all excitement got ruined after my order arrived. Unfortunately, the dress I received is totally different in size according to your given size measurements. Also, there is one hole at the back side of the dress which is externally disappointing.
The order was made on 14th August and order no is 23456. It is a blue colour dress from ZARA. Also,I have attached invoice with this letter for your further reference. I had picked medium size However, the dress I got is seems to be small in size. There is some issue with your size scale provided on website. In addition to this, sending damaged fabric is extremely unprofessional attitude of vendor. Although, I have been your regular customer and brought number of items from your website. This behaviour is not acceptable at yours end.
I would like to say that I really like this dress. And, request you to please initiate the exchange process in this regard. Please exchange this stuff with bigger size and undamaged fabric. In case you won't be able to exchange this I will request for total refund of money. I accept any quick action in this matter as soon as possible.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours Faithfully,
John
