Write a letter to HR department of a company requesting information about a interview that you attended but still waiting for results. In your letter:Describe the position applied forWhy the interview went wellWhy do you need the results.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to inquire about an interview that i have given in past week at your company held on 26th May, the coordinator assured me that results will be announced by the end of week but still no update has been shared with me till now.

I have applied for Technical Analyst post that required 5 years of experience, according to the interviewer my resume was outstanding among other candidates and for most of the questions that were asked i have given answers clearly with examples and same has been appreciated by the interviewer. The reason for which i am writing this letter is that another form has offered me a similar position but my inclination towards your company is more hence my primary goal is to be hired by your firm.

It would be great help if you can share the result at the earliest or at least let me know the status of my application so that i can work things out with other firm.

Awaiting for your kind reply.

Thanks in Advance!!!

Yours Faith fully
Gunjan Pratap
