Dear Bert Sir,
I am writing this letter to seek permission for the upcoming training course on food safety in Indus institute. This course will make a competent microbiologist on the parameters of food analysis and determination of different pathogens in food products. Especially, Salmonella and Listeria, as these are the prominent contaminants found in food items in Southern Asia.
This safety course has many advantages for our lab including proficiency in testing of products. After this course, we can upgrade our lab by requesting senior management for the auditing for A-grade certification. This A-grade certification will help us in export business also.
The course work is for one week and the classes are in evening time. Therefore, it will highly obliged if you can change my shift to morning hours from 6 am to 2 pm and after the lunch break I will directly proceed to Indus institute. Additionally, if any work remains pending, I will do that during weekend.
I would be grateful, if you could reply at your earliest convenience.
The training course dates are from 7th to 14th of this month.
