I am Cathy Grey, I was your student at Mason College in the year 2012-2014. I was a dissertation student under you, and my topic was "Detection of mentally retarded genes in patients with Down's Syndrome". I am writing this letter to request you to help me to get a reference letter from you, regarding my performance academically.
I have applied for a job at one of the Genetic testing center in Ahmedabad, i am applying for a post of junior research fellow in a project aiming to correct Down Syndrome in the fetus by using a new genetic tool. This approach is totally different and unique in itself.
This fellowship is really important to me, because the research is totally innovative and new, there has been no other research paper on such technique. If we succeed in this project, then it will be something breakthrough, and it will greatly impact on my Resume and might as well help me to get in to a good university for my Ph.D.
