I hope this letter finds you in a good health. I am writing to request you to push the job onboarding date to the next month 5th of October and also to explain my genuine reason.
Firstly, I apologize as I am unable to start on the said date. Even though I am aware of the company's policy, but I will have to tell you my situation as I am hospitalised due to medical emergency.
While going home, right after the interview, I had a major accident and the doctor said that there are fractures. The estimation of recovery is approximately 3 weeks.
However, I think that it would be better if I could get more time to join. Therefore, I request you to kindly postpone the start date for next month. Please find attached are my reports and admit letter as a proof for your reference.
