Dear Sir,
I am writing this about possibility of taking fortnight off work to complete my Master’s degree in animation. I have almost competed my thesis and ready to complete my project work to university by January 30th. Unfortunately, all my annual leave balance has been used and anytime I take a leave from now can be considered as unpaid.
I would also check my daily and will be available for emergency phone calls. On return, assure to work on weekends and extend my working hours in order to catch up on anything I had missed. I already discussed with our team-mates Isha and Joe about my situation and explained the work to be taken up in my absence. Assuming, that they would be supporting for this two weeks fulfilling my roles and responsibilities.
I realize that, my temporary absence to work brings inconvenience; however, in the long turn my study on 3D animation will help our company. As you may be aware that our product is being amalgamated with the ‘Animation Systems’ soon; besides, we do not have skilled employees in visualizing. Hence, my qualification might be a huge addition to this. Hope that you will kindly do the needful.
