Dear Susan,
I'm writing this letter to request some days off work to attend the Total quality course that we discussed about last month.
The course will take place in New Jersey throughout the first half of July. I know that this is one of the busiest months in our company, but I believe this is an outstanding opportunity to increase the quality of our work through the knowledge and experience that I'll acquire in those 15 days.
In my experience over these last 5 years working for the company I noticed that our customer service department needs a better quality control and not only our clients will benefit from it, but our work environment will enhance immensely since most of the issues brought up in the last meeting was about the lack of a quality control.
To make up for the days I'll be away, I'm going to pick up some night shifts in August and I was thinking about teaching a class to my colleagues on the subject of the course.
The deadline for the course registration is next week, so I would appreciate if you could give me a final answer by then.
