I am writing in reference to request for some time off work as I have enrolled for a certification course on link budget and network design. Let me briefly explain.
As you are aware that our company focuses on skill enhancement of employees so that they can become more efficient at work. As a part of the skill development program, I was shortlisted for the link budget and network design course hence I would need some time off work. The course is for three weeks and the course timings are from 5 pm to 7 pm hence I request you to allow me an early time off from office for three weeks starting from next week. To compensate for time off I am ready to come to the office at 8 am instead of 9 am so that I can finish the work by 5 pm.
Lastly pursuing this certification will not help me in designing efficient networks for our customers but also optimize the cost which will further reduce the capital cost of the networks thus bringing cost savings to our company.
