Dear Mr Chris,
I am writing this letter to request for two weeks off in order to give final exams for my certificate in Oracle Financials.
Let me explain this in more detail. I am doing specialization is Oracle financials and now its time for the final examination and thesis submission. Unfortunately, exams are held in another city which would be difficult to accommodate my work. For this reason, I humbly request 2 weeks off from 15th of April till 30th April.
I make sure on returning, I will complete all my pending work from these weeks, even if it requires me to sit late hours. John will be handling all my duties so I will also be meeting him in order to catch up on anything I had missed.
Recently, our company has implemented Oracle throughout the departments. My certification in Oracle specialization would not only lighten the burden on our accountants but it will also prepare me to be a replacement for any absent employees working with Oracle.
