• apologise and offer to come on another day or later the same day
• also ask how long the interview will be, and whether there will be any tests during it
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter in regard to the invitation to attend an interview for study Course at a college. Yesterday, I received confirmation email for the interview and it is scheduled on Friday, 15th January at 10.00 AM. But, unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the aforementioned interview due to another scheduled appointment at the same date and time. I have that appointment for my health checkup, after the one month of waiting I got this appointment therefor, I am afraid I cannot miss that.
Furthermore, I hope you can empathize with my situation and I would like you to reschedule the interview for another suitable date. I will be available from 20th January to 24th January. I really apologize for the inconvenience cause.
Also, I would really appreciate it if you could let me know how much time interview will take to finish. I am also wondering if there will be any online or office test for the same. I request you please provide the adequate information in this regard.
