You have been selected for a training course on computer skills that you cannot attend. Write a letter to your employer and say:

Explain how this training course would help you
Why won’t you be able to attend it
Suggest a way to have that training again

Dear Sir,

I have recently selected for a company funded computer training course, which will be commencing from the next week. However, it will not be feasible for me to join it due to some person emergencies.

Although i was quite excited about learning computer operating skills and looking desperately forward to it since many days, i got into this personal commitment, which can not be postponed or avoided. Perhaps, it has now become mandatory to everyone at the office to have basic expertise in performing different tasks on this device. If someone do not know how to work on this machine, it will put their job in to jeopardy. However, one of my close relatives met with an accident yesterday, and it is my responsibility to visit them. They live in London, hence i would have to take leave for at least 15 days, which is a minimum requirement to complete this visit.

Further, i would like to know if it is possible to pursue this training later this month. It would be a relief for me if it is feasible.

I hope you understand my situation and accuse me for this sudden withdrawal from this essential course.

Yours sincerely
Harpreet

Yours sincerely.
