Dear Mr Singh,

I am writing to request you to allow me leaves for one month in order to pursue studies for a qualification course in management.

I have been working in the same job profile for the last three years which has enriched me almost with all the aspects of the present role, and it is an appropriate time for me to diversify into more challenging roles. Therefore, I have decided to do a part time qualification course in Business management.

The course is designed to teach candidates work management and interpersonal skills, which are essential for handling teams as I will progress ahead. Furthermore, it will help me manage my work better and improve coordination with my colleagues. Without any doubt, I will become an impeccable human resource which the organization can utilize for future positions, in addition to increased productivity and shorten turnaround time in the current role.

I look forward to your permission and grant of leaves to pursue this qualification.

Yours sincerely,
Deepak Gupta
