Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter in connection to some false information published about my home town recently in your newspaper ‘The Hindustan times’.
I am a frequent reader of your esteemed newspaper and read every new thoroughly. I was glad when I came across reading the news of my town Ferozepur However, I felt unhappy when I found some statics and data printed incorrectly. According to the article the temperature of my city was shown near about 49 degree Celsius in the summer but it always remains below 42 degree Celsius.
Moreover, this piece of news reveals only few places of tourist attractions, which is false. In fact, there are numerous places to visit such as Saragarhi Gurudwara, Hussaniwala Border, Fun island, Delhi gate, museum and many more. It is imperative to portray the true picture of the city as false information can adversely affect tourist industry, business, and investors. Moreover, it can negatively affect the reputation of our home town. I am humbly requesting you to edit and correct the news published with the footnote stating that the given information was false.
I am looking forward to a quick resolution to this significant matter.
Yours faithfully
Ravinder Singh
