You have lost your student identification card. This has created some problems for you.
Write a letter to the director of student services. In your letter
• advise them of your situation
• explain how this is affecting you
• request a new card

Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter regarding the student identification card which I lost yesterday. However, I need the card to be issued to the earliest because this leads me to face many challenges.
I already raised a concern with respect to this at the college office and they informed that it will take 2 to 3 weeks to get a new ID card. There are several reasons why I need a new card by the end of this week.
I use train to travel daily and my monthly pass is about to expire in this week. It requires my student ID card for renewal. Secondly, the security guard doesn’t allow me into the college premises where I need to take temporary pass and approval from the college department until I was issued with a new card. The most important challenge is that my 2’nd semester exams are approaching in the next week. Moreover, I will be in need of borrowing reference books from our college library. In this situation I may not get them without my identification proof which affects my studies.
Hence, I request you to issue a new identification card as soon as possible. Please consider my situation and do the needful.
Yours Sincerely,
John
