Dear Rose,
I am writing this epistle to let you know that due to some medical urgency at my place, we will have to postpone our holiday for maximum two weeks.
I was super exited for our trip this weekend as a long wait was going to be over with our holiday. I had almost completed my shopping along with the packing yesterday and as agreed upon, I made all the necessary arrangements for camping too by taking help from a local vendor. Not only this, I also got my car washed as you categorically told me to do so.
Sometimes, the Almighty has His own plans for us! Until yesterday, grandmother was fine but later at night she complaint of breathing issue and we had to rush her to hospital. Owing to the condition of my grandmother, I am really sceptical that we shall be able to go this week at least. She has been kept under observation for 72 hours at the most.
I think, we can reschedule our trip and can plan for 5th September 2020 as it is the weekend and by that time things will be pretty okay. Let me know if this date suits you, else we can go by your convenience and comfort any day after 4th September.
