You have organized to go on holiday with your friend. However, you must change your plans.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:
1. Tell them how much you are looking forward to the holiday.
2. Explain why you must change your plans.
3. Suggest alternative arrangements.

Dear Akshay,
Hello!!! I hope this letter finds you in pink of your health. I am very excited about our road trip to Goa and celebrating your birthday on the beach under the clear night sky full of stars. I have already packed my bags with required beach wears along with getting my car serviced ready for the trip.
As per our plan, instead of going from Alibaugh, Ratnagiri, Malvan and then Chiplun; I recommend going from Pune, Solapur, Kolhapur and then Chiplun. As the roads after Alibaugh are getting repaired, preparation for the coming monsoon, the traffic has surged a lot and will be hectic to drive. As no hotel reservations are made, we can take the alternate route.
To make this trip more exciting, I was thinking of carrying a tent and required portable cooking set up; instead of staying in rooms, we can experience staying on open grounds or lands. I have checked on the internet that many have shared their tenting experience on this Solapur-Kolhapur highway, we can follow the same thing if required to avoid surprising disaster.
Looking forward to hearing from you so that tenting arrangements can be made.
Yours faithfully,
Shreyas Parab
