You have recently attended a work-related course. Write a letter to your manager and say – What course was it, and when did you take it?– What did you like about it?– What improvements can be made in the future?

Dear Mr. David,

I am writing this letter to let you know that I have attended a certificate course on "Project Management Methodology for Software Projects" as per your official instruction. It started on the 21st of April, 2019 and lasted for 5-days.

As an employee of a software development farm, surely this course will help me to manage the software project in our company. The skill that I always wanted to have is managing project efficiently with time, budget and resource constraints. Also, this course helped me to understand how we can acquire leadership skills by practicing emotional intelligence. The best part of the whole training was to learn about the procedures related to risk mitigation in a particular project.

Although it was an effective course, there is an extent to improve the training's usefulness. Firstly, the trainer was providing examples mostly related to construction projects which were not helpful for us. It is better to hire a trainer from a software project management domain. Secondly, the curriculum of the course should also be updated to add the specific practices in managing software projects.

I am glad to have this opportunity, and I am hoping this training will be further advantageous for the portfolio of the whole company.

Yours faithfully,

Abed Joy
