Hope you are doing well. There is good news which I would like to share with you.
Recently, I joined a new job in London as a production manager in H&M organization and I will be responsible for men’s apparel division. Though, my last job was also in manufacturing line, I was not getting any salary hike for last two years and despite of raising the issue to my ex-manager and HR personnel, no one did pay heed to my rising requirements. In April’18, I applied for this position which was published in leading newspapers and on job website. After three rounds of interview, I was selected and offered a 50% hike from my last salary.
While on the joining day I felt nervous, probably changing environment was the prime factor but now I am quite familiar with the new environment and got acquainted with other colleagues whom I found very supportive. I have also been told by my manager not to be hesitant for inquiring about anything. Although, I have not yet started the work in full swing , it appears that it is going to be challenging in initial six months especially at the time of Christmas when lots of company place order for manufacturing.
In addition, I have also completed, part-time MBA and I scored A grade in three subjects and B+ grade in one. So now I am qualified management person.
