Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to express my concerns regarding the new airport construction in my town.
Initially, the commercial land was available for the construction of a shopping mall in our area since there is no mall in the town. However, a notice has been issued by the district magistrate that mentioned the state and central government has decided to build a domestic and international airport terminal on the same land.
From this effect, we oppose the government in building the airport on the space available for shopping mall since we do not have a shopping mall in our area because of the old architecture construction commercial buildings. So, the locals insisted the government reform the area by creating a shopping mall which will reduce the traffic congestion on roads and provide an ample amount of space to all small business retailers. Yet, building an airport will increase more traffic and air pollution in the city. As a result, it will create negative effects on residents living in the city.
I would suggest you please investigate this matter before passing the project to builders for construction. You can improvise the documentation of the project by constructing the Airport on the outskirts area of the city. Besides, you will get an enormous amount of space for aviation port construction.
