Essay topics:

You saw a brochure for a one-week walking tour in the mountains. You're very interested in taking part, but you're not very fit and are worried you wouldn't be able to keep up. Write to the tour operator. In your letter:

• Explain why you're interested in the tour.

• Ask for information about dates and prices.

• Express your concerns about your fitness level.

Dear Sir,

I hope you will find the letter in the best of health and happiness. I saw your brochure which was enclosed with today's newspaper. After reading your brochure, I felt excited to hear that you are organizing seven days of trekking in the mountains of the Himalayas.

Since I am a traveler, I like to see the beautiful destinations around the world, especially the ones which have mountains because I like the different types of flora and fauna. It would be a great chance to see the wildlife during the time of stay in the Himalayas.

I would request you to please provide more information such as dates and price for each person so that I can communicate in my Whatsapp travelers group. Also, please share the types of equipment needed to bring on this trip.

Further, I want to ask that will I encounter any fitness issues while walking during the entire trip as I have gained a lot of weight in the past two months. I would be grateful to you for sharing any fitness concerns that I can face during this trip so that I could ensure and prepare myself to come to the trekking.

I am looking forward to hearing a prompt response.

Yours faithfully,
Shwatank Bhasin
