Essay topics:

You recently went to a concert and thought one of the singers was very god.

You want to tell him how you feel.

Write a letter to the singer. In your letter

say how you feel about his performance

give details of your musical activities

explain how you would like him to help you with your musical activities.

Dear Mr. Jackson,

I went to the concert performed by your groups last month in Chicago. Albeit it is not the first time I watch you singing, still I was amazed by your performance and couldn't stop thinking of the show.

With strong interest in music, I attend the musical school and intend to pursue my passion in singing. Having kept practicing in the past few years, I personally witness my progress in singing and attain more professional techniques. However, I find it difficult for me to figure out my personal style of singing. Most of the time I am simply imitating and repeating.

I know that you are used to keep blogs and share your happiness and sorrow related to singing. I was encouraged by your story and felt connected. If possible, could you write something about how you find your own style of singing? I believe many students like me would be delighted to learn from your experience.

I look forward to your response.

Sincerely,

Alan
