You recently went to a public event (for example an exhibition, festival, or show) that you think your friend would enjoy. Write a letter to friend. In your letter
• tell your friend what the event was
• explain why you think your friend would like the event
• invite them to come to the event with you
Dear Rose,
Hope you are doing well. I have attended this jewellery exhibition in Downtown lately and thought to touch base about my fabulous experience with you.
If I’m not wrong, you are well-acquainted with my insane love for jewellery especially the rings and the chains. So when I heard that a renowned brand Ornas is presenting their summer collection in Hotel JW Marriot, Downtown, I was head over heels to attend it as soon as possible.
The exhibition is planned for three days and yesterday when I went there, women flocked in herds in order to have a glimpse of their new collection. I must admit that the floral range of pendant sets mesmerized me and I was spellbound at that time. Instantly, at that moment, I had your thought as you love this kind of pieces and I was certain that if I would tell you about the same, you will not have any second thoughts about the visit.
Therefore, I would like to invite you to accompany me on this event tomorrow as it’s there last day. Most importantly, the brand is going to reveal discount offers for their customers and I certainly do not aspire to leave this golden chance from my hand and hope you too would be pondering over the same.
Awaiting for your prompt revert.
Yours lovingly,
Misha Lucas
