I am writing to request you for granting unpaid leaves for a few days, as I would not be able to join the office due to some specific arrangements made for a celebration in my town.
Let's me elucidate the whole scenario, I and my siblings are far away from my parental house and this Monday we decided to gather and celebrate our parent's 25th anniversary in my hometown. All the arrangements are already made and guests are invited to make the day special. Also, it's our pleasure to celebrate such a wonderful occasion together after a long time and to express our gratitude and love for the sacrifices they did for us. I need four days leaves i.e. from 20th Dec to 24th Dec to make assure for well preparation for the event.
Currently, I am working on the Japanese project and I have 2 meetings scheduled on the required days. Although I coordinated with Neha to attend the client as she had an amazing experience with the same client at earlier meetings, at the same time, I would be available on phone and check out my emails for smooth running of work in my absence. Apart from this, no other assignments are due.
I would be grateful if you could consider my request.
