Dear Nina,

I am just writing to talk to you about my graduation ceremony for the MBA course in I have been
undertaking for the last two years.

As you know, I have been part of the two year masters of business administration diploma course at the
Duke university in Singapore. This batch started last year in May and will end in April of this year.
Although my final exams are going to end on 31st May, the course will officially end 20 days prior to
these tests.

The college have given us a break for two weeks after the last examination and the graduation
ceremony will, therefore, be held on 15 th April which is a Friday in the ballroom of The Richmond Hotel.
This function will start at 6.00 pm but the guests have to reach the venue earlier to find their designated
seats. There is a strict dress code of black tie for students, however, the guests are allowed to be in
semi-formal attire. The event will include dinner and non-alcoholic beverages and will conclude by 10.00
pm.

I have been allocated two couple passes to invite my guests for this function and I would like mum and
dad to join Matt and you for this event. These tickets are chargeable, so please speak to them and let
me know if they can make it to Singaopore.

I can’t wait to hear from you with your travel dates and flight ticket details.

Warm wishes,
Karry
