Hi Sir,
I wanted to report an uncalled accident that took place while I was returning from the business trip last night. I hired the car through our company rental on Monday, Thursday 6th 2019 from Chicago city for a two day trip to our client location in St Louis, MN. Since it was weekend I planned to stay back for another day and explore the town. However, while returning I met with a small accident which needs to be informed.
The incident took place around 7:00 PM on the I65 highway. I had a vehicle who was about to the take an exit on Exit no 23, but all of a sudden it again merged back into the highway after a short stint on the exit lane. I assumed it was about to exit as that what it indicated and was off the highway track. I was going at the same speed but as it retracted back to the highway, it caused sudden braking by me and the car behind me bumped into my car from the rear end.
This caused the damaged to the trunk and its locking system. Thankfully no one was injured in this incident. I have the police report and the car driver's insurance details which the company might need for the investigation and repair. Please let me know if any further details are needed from end.
