Your child is going on a three day school trip to another country. The head teacher wants to find parents to go with the group and you would like to go.
Write a letter to the head teacher. In your letter:
• Say why you would like to go on the trip
• Suggest what you could do to help during the trip
• Ask other questions about the trip

Dear Mr. Sam,

I am writing as a parent to show interest in accompanying my child and other students who are going on an educational tour to France.

As you know, the students of class five who are the participants of this trip have been requested to enquire with their parents if they can come along with them. In his regard I would like to offer my company to the team who are heading on the trip to provide my personal insights into the history of french education systems. From what I know the students will visit the community schools in Paris and will get exposure to a learning experience which I assume will be truly unique for them. my background as an educator in the french education systems might be very useful in explaining to them about the teaching technique employed by the schools and how to make sense of it as learners.

Although, I have some primary information related to this visit, I would like to know few more things such as names of the educational institutions where the group will make a visit. this will allow me to prepare in advance for providing guidance on the tour. I would be grateful if you could provide any additional information regarding the trip and keep a place on hold for me on the group.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,

Ram
