Essay topics:

Your friend had made a plan for you to see a movie together but you cannot now not join him. You've found another friend who can go instead of you.

Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:

Explain why you cannot go anymore
Say who can go instead of you
Say why this person is a good person to go with

Dear Cami,

I hope this letter finds you in great health. I was eagerly waiting for our movie night this weekend. But, unfortunately, I would not be able to accompany you.

I am completely aware of your excitement to watch this film as our favorite actor is playing the lead role. However, I have been assigned to a project in Mumbai and I have to relocate to that city for a few days. Actually, after the completion of this project, I might get promoted to a higher position, that's why I could not decline this offer.

Keeping in mind your emotions and enthusiasm for this movie, I have found a friend who is as interested as you in watching this picture. Her name is Hayley and she is residing with me in my apartment.

I am certain that you would enjoy her company because she is fun-loving just like you. Moreover, her native place is also in Bihar. I think you two would really get along. Once again, I am really sorry for backing out at the last moment. I promise I would make it up to you after returning back.

I would love to hear the story, so make sure that you remember every detail of this movie. Enjoy your weekend to the fullest.

Best regards,
Davina
