Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing in regard to the council decision of shutting down the sport`s center in the city due to saving the expenditure on it.
I have been informed with the council decision from a friend. When the news is confirmed from your local office about the closure, my friends, family and I were extremely disappointed. I personally was visiting the center regularly to practice some training activities. The center is also considered as our family hub to catch up and spend their spare time.
Not only my family and friends will be affected from the decision, but also the local community will suffer from it. The importance of the center comes from its healthy environment which is being provided for all kind of people. Families go to the center with their children to maintain their healthy bodies, and the center helped a lot in decreasing the obesity rate among the individuals.
I understand the council concern regarding the fund arrangement; however, the closure decision is not the right one. Hence, would highlight that it will harm our community health rate, and that children won`t find a suitable place to practice their hobbies.
I look forward to reconsidering that decision from your end.
