Dear Robin,
I received your letter regarding the noise coming from my house previous weekend. It was my daughter’s birthday and we got carried away, but that is no excuse for disturbing the whole neighbourhood in our noisy celebration.
I am writing this letter to apologise to you for our rude behaviour. I understand that no matter how much I apologise now, I cannot bring back that night and allow you to have a peaceful time that night. But if it is of any consolidation, my whole family apologises to you and promises that such incident would never be repeated in future.
Our family has decided to celebrate all our future functions in public places like restaurants, children park etcetera. We have also decided never to play television or radio at the noise level. I would also like to take this opportunity to invite you to my son’s birthday celebration next week at the Disney Land Park near our place.
