There is a common trend that people make it possible to purchase items in similarities from different countries all over the wold. Personally, I believe that this development is largely detrimental to economy and culture worldwide.
Firstly, the same international commodities sold widely have a negative influence on economic activity in each country. Although globalization, is a main ingredient to promote international trade, allows customer to buy the same products and follow the same trends anywhere, the less developed countries have to compete aggressively to big brands from the developing ones. For example, Vietnamese people prefer to shop for fashionable clothes from high-end transnational stores rather to buy clothes from local stores that sell " made in Vietnam" products.
