Nowdays, more people are choosing to socialise online rather than face to face . Is this is a positive or negative development?

These days, online is the major development in the world. Therefore, most of the people are using social websites for the communication instead of individualy interaction. In my opinion, this development have some negative impacts in the life of people.

According to the first school of thoughts, online social media creates many difficulties for the masses as these days most of the people are interacting with their friends on these websites instead of meeting them. Before the online, people are prefer to go the restaurant , café and many more places to meet their near and dear ones but now people are chatting online with their friends which leads to isolation among the people. As this result, most of the masses are suffering from depression and anxiety.

Another issue is that, meeting people online can be risky. In other words, people can assume fake identity and hide their real characteristics. This is particularly about for teenagers who are impressionable and can easily be led into dangerous situations. Furthermore, as this interaction is online , parents have no way to monitoring and protecting their children.

Finally, the conversation with strangers can lead a horrible situation for the person as most of the people are sharing their personal details and photos with them and they are misusing it, which is harmful for the
people. Further, information which input online can stay there forever and while people may share intimate communication with close friends, these words can then resurface later leading to much embarrassment.

In conclusion, although it has become more popular for people to socialize through internet. This is considered as positive development but sometimes it creates many negative situations. So people should use the internet carefully.
