Nowadays, exchange of gifts has become a trend, consider as token of love. Peoples find out reason to offer some gift to their near ones on various times of calibration. Some individuals believe that gifts contribute vital role to show their love and affection to dear ones but some opine that there are various other ways which show take care of their kith and kins.
To begin with, some people think that gifts are imperative thing that convey the message of love to their friends and relatives. They feel that these are tangible things that persistently remind that someone care about them. To illustrate, that people living in overseas usually give ornaments and gifts to their dear ones to show their love and affection.
Moreover, some youngsters give luxurious items to their friends and family. They believe that more the expensive present and more the stronger bond among themselves. Actually busy life promotes the gift of culture of gifts; people have no much time to spend with near and dear ones so they feel guilty .They offer gifts to them to compensate the feeling of guilt. For instance, especially working parents to overcome the inability to spend the quality time with children, they shower the gifts in form of toys and video games.
I believe that there are various ways other than gifts. They have limited shelf life and it can never be the expression of love. The best gift to your dear ones is helping them in difficult situation. For example, when a person suffers from health issue give him moral support and time as a gift. It is best present for a person if someone stands by us in difficult time.
To summarize, gifts sometimes shows love and care for long distance relationship but these things are short lived, instead sharing quality time and helping them when they need is best way to show love and care.
