You work for an international company and would like to spend six months working in its head office in another country.Write a letter to your manager. In your letter • explain why you want to work in the company’s head office for six months. •

Dear Mr. Brown,
Of late, I have been told that there is a temporary job available at our head office in London. I have also come across in our internal portal about this Internal Job Posting (IJP). I am keen on applying for this potential job opportunity and I request you to recommend me for this position.
There are plenty of reasons why I would like to grab this chance. First, head and major team members from Marketing & Sales team operate from our head office. In recent internal communication it is being said that, the team has brought in new techniques to increase the sales and it helped in gradual increase of company profits. By working closely with the team I would like to expand my horizon and want learn new skills which can be added value in my resume. As a result, I wish to make a career progress. Second, the office has been renovated as a result of this there has been an ample workspace, parking lot and other refreshment areas made available for employees.
Though, I will work in different timezone I have a plan which can’t affect my work. I can stretch my working hours to align with my current responsibilities in work, and I can attend all my business meetings either from home network or from office network. I am sure connecting to company network through LAN wouldn’t be an issue because I work within the company premises.
Therefore, I would like to request you to recommend me for this position as you have good contacts with the managers in head office. And needless to ask please assist me with good feedback by outlining my achievements so far.
Yours sincerely,
Sudheerkumar Motakatla
