Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?

Parents today are more involved in their children's education than parents were in the past.

Deciding how to react when others say something wrong especially when it’s in a class or meeting is very important. Whether some people prefer to correct the mistake right away and tell the9ir idea, others prefer to wait until the end of the class or don't put them self in trouble and say nothing. In my point of the view, it is better to wait until the end of the speech and then talk to the lecturer privately. I will detail my reasons as follow.

To begin with, correcting people's mistake in front of others may embarrassed them. Although I believe that there is nothing wrong in correcting the others, I firmly propose to do it in right opportunities such as at the end of the meeting and class. In this way, we can cope the situation by talking to the teacher and meeting leader privately and inform them about their incorrect concept and give them the chance to correct their mistake in the next meeting or class without being embarrassed in front of others. For example, I remember a time when my professor depicted stochastics which were outdated , while he believed they are dedication he started giving his lecture, since he was very respectful person I talked to him after the class and he accept his mistake after that he correct it next session.

Another reason is that, interrupting someone during the speech can cause distraction even for audience or the lecturer. By talking and correcting during the speech, the teacher or meeting leader may forget about what was he/she talking about or the audience miss the points and become confuse. for instance, I had been in an conference, during one of speech a man showed his disagreement to the lecturer and it had taken the hole time of the speech to convince each other while me and the other audiences were confused about what they were talking about and couldn't understand the topic of lecture.

In conclusion, it might be true that when someone is wrong we should correct the mistake right away. However, I personally believe that it is better to be silent during the speech and inform the lecturer at the end of it.by this way we avoid to embarrass the lecturer as well as audience and lecturer distraction.
