humans challenges while going to the Mars

Both the reading and the lecture are about hamans going to the Mars. The athor of the reading feels that there are three reasons for the assertion that it is impossible for humans to get to the Mars and use it's resourses; however, the professor finds the idea dubious and cast doubt on the reasons proposed by the writer of the text.

To begin with, the author mentions that it is impossible to make use of the resourses of the Mars, for the cargo capacity of space vehicles is too limited to put on board the food, water and oxygen required by the crew. This specific argument is challenged by the speaker. He brings up the idea that if the astronauts make use of the hydroponics technique, it is possible to make get enough supplies. He elaborates on this by saying that in this tecnique, the root of the plant is in the water and by using this technique the astronauts can easily plant crops and cultivate their needed food. furthermore he asserts that by doing such a thing they would recycle their water in order to make it edible and finally these plants can make oxygen for the crew too.

Secondly, the writer holds up the view that it is impossible for the crew not to experience grave medical problems while taking this trip for spending a lot of time in the zero-gravity environment has negative effects on human's body, such as decreased muscle mass and lost bone density. In contrast, the lecturer rebuts this reason by underlying the fact that astronauts already experienced such a thing when they were in the space stations for a couple of months. Additionally, he states that they use a couple of techniques to solve these potential problems such as daily exercise and using minerals and supplements so as to preserve their bone density and muscle mass.

Finally, the author posits that astronauts will be exposed to dangerous levels of space radiation and there is not much to do about it, for building an instrument to shield them would add lots of weight to the spaceship. On the contrary, the professor dismisses this issue due to the fact that these dangerous space radiations happen occasionally and not always. Moreover, he claims that they can make use of an instrument, which detects these radiations and makes a shielded area, which does not add too much weight. by using this apparatus, when radiations are coming, the crew would be informed and they would go to the small shielded area.

---------------------
Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:

para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.

So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:

reasons == advantages or

reasons == disadvantages

for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.

or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
