HEPA filters are effective at removing allergens such as dust or pollens without producing secondary pollution. The folded fiber sheets of the HEPA filters trap toxic substances when the absorbed particles come into contact with the fiber. Once any large enough particle is absorbed, the filter will produce cleaner air in an eco-friendly way.

Ozone-generating air purifiers remove unpleasant smells and airborne chemicals. This can be done with the help of ozone, which creates a special reaction when it comes in contact with hazardous substances. Also, ozone has a pleasant smell like air fresheners.
