The article discusses that there is some uncertainty that some paintings were painted by a well-known painter named Rembrandt. The focus of the article is on an Elderly Woman in a White Bonnet and it claims that it was not painted by him and provides three reasons for support. However, the professor refutes all claims.

First, the report develops the idea that there is inconsistency attributed to the way the woman is dressed. In contrast, the professor rejects the point. He points out that many examinations like X-ray and other measurements were taken and they found that fur collar was placed after painting. They did so to increase the value of the painting.

Second, the reading puts forward that he was mater on painting light and shadow but they are not fitted together. Conversely, the professor disproves the contend. He states that some changes were made and they were removed from the original painting to be seen. Light collar reflects the light and face and they are not shadowing. So, These are partly realistic.

Third, the text develops the idea that it was painted on a panel that was made of several pieces of wood and they are glued together. On the other hand, the professor rules out the contention. He explains that they changed it after painting. They were added to make it large and valuable. The original painting was on a single wood but after that other pieces of wood were added to it.
