That is, the practical profit is divided to trivial parts to countless franchise owners under the franchising company.
Thirdly, the author mentions that unexperienced franchise owner can have high security rather than start an independent business. The professor challenges the validity of this claim. She mentions that buying an independent business from the preowner has twice security than simply buy a franchise. To conclude, rather than having a franchise, people should try to buy the old independent business.
