Secondly, when in the article it is stated, that you can find people who share your unique hobbies and interests, the lecturer argues that we are lacking social skills nowadays. In America, with every further year, the amount of friends for person has increased drastically. He states that we tend to have a lot of acquaintances, who we are not familiar very well with. Moreover, only a few people tend to communicate with their neighbours, and a vast amount of people share their problems with family members or leave them uncovered to others.

Last but not least, the article points out the ability to speak up freely, when the lecturer cast doubt on this point by stating that we should use real communication abilities and create strong relationships with people in real life.
