The newspaper committee wants to decide wich student worth the schoolarship that they provide. According to different criteria, there were 2 final students to choose between them. what conclusion should be drwan from the infromation in the reading and listening?

The article states that the newspaper community in college was interested in providing a scholarship to one deserving student. The committee that was responsible for choosing the worthy recipient of the award decided that the student should possess three main charactersicts, they also, reached to two finalists according to the listening, the two final students were Baki and Raulf.

The passage states that the first characteristic that the student should have, is that he/she should be majoring in journalism with high grades ad indication commitment to high education. The conversation about the finalists, Baki and Raulf, states that Baki is majoring in journalism with grades varies between A and B, but she always gets A in journalism. On the other hand, Raulf is majoring in biology, but he also takes a class in journalism, all his grades are A.

The second characteristic as the passage states was being actively involved in wide variety of activities. According to the committee in the listening, Beki is a soccer player and she plays music, in addition, she is a part of the photography club and a member of student console. The other candidate, Raulf, spends most of his time in the lab, devoting his time to biology and research, but he also won many awards in this field.

The last characteristic the worthy student should have is taking steps to improve the lives of people living in his community, not only his or her life. The committee's member states that Beki volunteers to help the elderly and spend some of her off-campus time in a local hospital, Raulf on the other hand spends his off campus time to attend sporting events.

From all this drawn information, I find Baki is a lot worthy to win this award as she meet all the criteria perfectly.
