Summarize the points made in the lecture, being sure to explain how the proposal discussed in the lecture would solve the specific challenges described in the reading passage.

The author of the article claims that maintaining a human presence on Venus would be impossible. In the lecture, however, the professor challenges the mentioned view and discounts all the reasons, by putting forward the idea that we can establish a station 50 Km above the Venus' surface. Then he discusses three main reasons as follows.

First, he explains that 50 km above the Venus' surface the pressure is equal to normal like Earth pressure; hence, there is no danger od crush. This opposes the reading which mentioned that almost anything humans might land on Venus would be crushed.

Second, he describes since the planet's atmosphere is made up mostly of carbon dioxide and nitrogen we can produce water. Again this refutes the passage which stated that there are no reservoirs of water on Venus and regular supply of water is impractical.

Third, he says a station above the cloud can make use of both direct sunlight and clouds reflection to produce electricity. This contradicts the article which asserted that humans can not get electricity to power their machines and equipment.
