Besides, some boats that flow on the shallow ocean could be crashed because of artificial reefs. It is best to let other fishers know the exact location of reefs. But in this way the small scale fishers could lost their competitiveness.
Finally, the author of the reading claims that artificial reefs provide an inexpensive, environmentally friendly way to reuse materials.
However, the speaker thinks it is not true. For instance, osborne reef is bounded by many materials. Once the storm come, those materials could loose and crash into the ocean. As a result, the reef brings much environmental damage for the plants and animals that live in the sea.
