both the reading and the professor talk about the mandatory policy that a company offers to its employees.

reading passage claims that this policy will be beneficial for both the company and employees because of the three mentioned reasons. However, the lecturer finds all the point dubious and provides some evidence to refute them all.

Fist of all, the author argues that decreasing five days working to the four days provide profit for the company. Conversely, the professor brings up the idea that the new worker means new office space and also more medical insurance and training.

Furthermore, the reading passage argues holds the view that unemployed people will be decreased which is a goal for every society. Nevertheless, the lecturer dispute this argument. He points out that the employer has a chance to raise his expectations and increase the work-hours with no additional income. In this condition, not only it has disadvantages but also it improves unpleasant sense in the employee.

Finally, the author asserts that four-day workweek brings more free time and affords more activity for the worker. On the other hand, the professor rebuts this reason by thinking about the condition that may end by losing the job because the quantity of work will be decreased by four-day work in the weeks. Consequently, people can saw dramatically drop in life satisfaction.

In sum, the two perspectives differ in their approach. Controversial points are proposed by the professor which showed us that the policy must have more exact review.
