Both the reading passage and the lecture argue about the behavior of elephant. The aouthor mention to the three ability of this huge mammals. However the professor finds all the idea dubious and present some evidence to refute them all.

First of all, the author cliams that elephents can be aware of their death time so they going to near water to find a place to be alone die. while the lecturer challenges this ponit, he mention that due to their teeth have destroyed during time they need soft vegtable to eat so they choose the vvegetable in water. this phenomena caused to find elephant near water.

Secondly, the author asserts that elephants are artis and thay painting and also they can recognize somthings like flowers. On the other hand, lecturer refute this argument and thinks that they are just drow some line and haven't any idea about the concept since the trainer learn them by touching their ear to drow a line. so they couldn't be an artist.

Finally,the reading passage states that elephants fear from the Mice. in contrast the professor brings up the idea that they react to unfamilar animal nut just Mice.

To some up, the two prespective are differ to the ability of elephant which showed we need to scrutinized more presisely.
